Three officers of Maldives Correctional Service have departed for Seychelles to participate in the Diploma module in Maritime Crime and Correctional Administration Training Programme being held from 5th to 9th October 2015.
The programme is organised by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and University of Seychelles and is accredited by Seychelles Qualification Authority.. UNODC is also funding the programme.
The three officers representing Maldives Correctional Service in the programme are Senior Prisons Officer Mohamed Mauroof, Senior Prisons Officer Shakeel Shareef and Senior Prisons Officer Mohamed Faisal. Three officers from Maldives Police Service are also participating in the programme.
The officers are scheduled to arrive back in Maldives on 10th October 2015.
