Prison Club has moved on to the semi finals of the Club Maldives Club after defeating MACL last night at the Rehendhi Turf grounds of Hulhumale’.
Prison Club won last night’s match with a 5-4 win on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
MACL had a good start with two goals scored during the first half. The second half saw a competitive game between the two times with Prison Club scoring two equalizers during the last three minutes of the match. Prison Club’s two goals were scored by Adam Mansoor (jersey no. 23) and Saneem Shamin (jersey no. 13).
Prison Club scored all five penalties while one penalty of MACL was saved by Prison Club’s goal keeper Abdulla Saamin. The final score of the match was 7-6.
Adam Mansoor of Prison Club was chosen as the King of the match.
Prison Club will be playing again FSM at the semis.
