Maldives Correctional Service has today begun the two-day Action Plan 2016 Review Forum at Maafushi Prison Lecture Hall.
The purpose of the Forum is to come up with the Action Plan of Maldives Correctional Service for 2016 as per the tasks and programmes proposed by the prisons, divisions and departments.
Speaking after inaugurating the Forum, Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal stated that the Action Plan should not exist only on paper and advised to make a realistic plan. He also stated that input and feedback from all officers should be included in the process.
Officers from all prisons, divisions and departments are participating in the Forum.
