Asseyri Prison has today held an information session at K. Himmafushi regarding the blood donation programme to be held to celebrate its 7th anniversary.
The session was held from 8:30 pm till 10:00 pm and was attended by officials from Himmafushi Council, Himmafushi School, some businesses and few locals. The programme is to be carried out in association with Maldivian Blood Donors and ADK Hospital.
The Director of Asseyri Prison Mohamed Hussain said that the blood donation programme was being organised with a lot of assistance from Maldivian Blood Service, Maldivian Blood Donors and ADK Hospital.
Asseyri Prison has informed that the blood donation programme is open for the whole island of Himmafushi and falls in line with Himmafushi School’s silver jubilee celebrations. The blood donation programme is to be carried out at Himmafushi Health Centre.
