An inmate was brought to Male in emergency after been told for further treatment at Hinmafushi Medical Center.
He was taken to the hospital for consultation due to a sudden chest pain. Doctor stated that inmate suffered a heart attack after checkup.
Inmate is currently being treated at IGMH and preparing to do angiogram for further treatment.
The inmate is a 50 year old man completing a 10 year prison sentence in Asseyri Prison. There has not been any record of heart problems.
