Asseyri prison has held a flag hoisting ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary, yesterday.
The ceremony was honored by the Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Ibrahim Mohamed Didi, joined by Directors of Prisons of Maldives Correctional Service, and Asseyri Prison Officers.
Asseyri Prison plays a key role in the rehabilitation of inmates. Currently there are a considerable number of inmates at the Prison who do hard work to reform themselves and return to the society as good citizens.
