Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has participated in the media information session of the round of activities soon to be carried out under the slogan “Amaan vettehge hih hamajehun” (satisfaction of a peaceful environment).
The event was inaugurated by Minister of Home Affairs Honourable Azleen Ahmed.
The activities will be carried out over a period of 45 days with the purpose of enlightening the public of the achievements over the past three years of law-enforcement agencies. Several activities will be carried out under the slogan to achieve the purpose. The parties taking part in these activities are Ministry of Home Affairs and the institutions under the Ministry, Ministry of Economic Development and Attorney General’s Office.
A total of 10 institutions had presented their presentations at the media event, held at Meerubahuru Maalam of Maldives Customs Service. Maldives Correctional Service had presented information regarding programmes carried out for the rehabilitation of inmates, measures taken to strengthen administrative issues, important projects that were carried out as well as notable social activities.
