Saturday’s bad weather has badly damaged the farms of Maafushi Prison.
The strong gusts of wind and rain damaged the lettuce and chillie farms and also destroyed the shack which stored the cultivated produce. Work has begun to check the extent of the damages caused during the bad weather.
The bad weather had also greatly damaged the boundary wall being built around Maafushi Prison.
