Maafushi Prison of Maldives Correctional Service has today held “Agriculture Fair 2017” at Maafushi.
The Fair started at 9am and included the display of plants for gardens, chili plants, spinach and vegetables. The garden plants and chili plants were also cultivated by inmates. The Fair received a positive response from a lot of locals.
All the vegetables at the Fair were completely sold out while a huge part of chili and garden plants were also sold.
As the Fair received such a positive response from Maafushi, Maafushi Prison is currently working to hold a similar fair in the near future.
